Implantology All on 8
The All on 8 dental implant system consists of positioning 8 dental implants per dental arch, functioning as "anchors" for a fixed and non-removable dental bridge. This system is recommended in cases where the patient has lost more than 80% of his natural teeth.
These dental implants will support a fixed dental bridge (permanently cemented on the implants) between 12 and 14 units (teeth). Before receiving All-on-8, the patient must have enough bone to support the implants. If there is not enough bone, a bone graft is needed. An All-on-8 requires more bone and more bone strength than an All-on-4.
Implant treatment is recommended for patients with a full arch of missing teeth or who are planning to remove and replace the remaining teeth. Offers a stable long-term alternative. If you are diabetic or use tobacco, you may not be the ideal candidate for this procedure.
